Scratchboard Art part 1
- The scratchboard technique uses knives and tools for etching in to a thin layer of China clay that is coated with black ink.
- Sgraffito art is a technique where a top layer of color is scratched to reveal a color beneath.
- The two techniques are similar because they both involve cutting and tracing images on to the board.

TIPS:
1) Have confident models.
2) Pull all elements from the scene and the model to reflect clothes and make up.
3) Pose
4) Control lighting
5) Use natural light if you don't have pricy equipment.
6) Capture photos at different angles.
7) Use props
8) Get the perfect location
9) Influence the image by moving around the scene and exploring which angles work best to full expose the garment.
10) Use an assistant to help set up props, lighting, etc.
