Dave Black: Dave Black is a sports photographer. His nickname is legendary. He has award winning images of Michael Phelps as well as other great athletes. He is known for taking pictures of sports and turning them in to iconic images. He has taken photos in the Olympic Games and his photos were in many sports magazines.

John Shaw: John Shaw is famous for his nature photography. He photographed on every continent. He began his career in the 1970s and always used a variety of different cameras. His work has been published in many famous books and magazines such as National Geographic, and Nature's Best. He received the first ever NANPA.

Elliot Erwitt: Elliot Erwitt was born on July 26, 1928, in Paris. He spent his childhood in Milan.  He immigrated to New York and lived in Los Angeles in 1941. His interest in photography began when he was living in Hollywood. He was drafted in to the army and took pictures overseas. In 1970, he began making movies. His work is shown in many famous art museums throughout the world.

Scratchboard Art part 1

• The scratchboard technique uses knives and tools for etching in to a thin layer of China clay that is coated with black ink.

• Sgraffito art is a technique where  a top layer of color is scratched to reveal a color beneath.

• The two techniques are similar because they both involve cutting and tracing images on to the board.

I really like this moral. The moral is trying to send out a message. The eyes on the children make the moral have a deeper meaning.

I like this moral. I like it because it is a moral with meaning. It is trying to show the world that everyone is equal, even if they are African American and living in the United States. This moral supports equality and equal rights. This moral would have been great in the 60s and 70s because that is around the time period when people fought and got these equal rights.

I love recycling. That is partially why I love this moral. I think everyone should try to save the environment whether it is recycling a water bottle, or other parts to make a truck. This is a really good idea, and hopefully some day these recycled products can actually be used.

I like this moral because it supports soldiers. It shows us all of the things that the soldiers go through in order to keep their country safe.
